Description
You will travel to Kenya and stay in Dr. Ochieng’s home, rural village of K’Opudo (click for slideshow). During the stay, for one, you will informally study and learn some aspect of Kenyan culture and, secondly, spend some time refurbishing the village learning center. We will also take mostly children and some adult books to establish a village library. You will travel to various sites in Kenya including:
Tracing the roots of president Obama (Alego K’Ogello)
The Equator
Lake Victoria (the largest African lake)
Nairobi animal national park (click on the link)
